Oakleigh Centre and Yarn

So we have a new and very exciting project in the works with the fabulous folks at Oakleigh Centre, a disability services organisation based in Melbourne's South East. Oakleigh Centre are undergoing an enormous "Grand Designs" style accommodation redevelopment and they've brought Yarn on to document the process. This project is quite different to most of our other work as we will be documenting this project over its two year timeline! We will produce one documentary short each six months, plus one longform documentary of the whole process, tracking the journeys of the 30 Oakleigh residents as they move into their new homes. On our first shoot day we filmed Oakleigh's first milestone event which was a celebration of the purchase of the new blocks of land. We are really rapt about this project and can't wait to keep filming.
