We're off to DocWeek in Adelaide for Pozible Pitch

We're excited to be heading to AIDC DocWeek in March, as part of the Pozible Pitch initiative.

Yarn's in-production feature Stingray Sisters has been selected as one of a handful of documentary crowd-funded campaigns to be included in the Festival. The purpose of the initiative is to assist documentary filmmakers to reach their Pozible campaign target by creating interest around their film and also gaining audience support at the Festival.

Katrina completed her first Pozible campaign for Stingray Sisters in mid-2013, reaching her target of $10,000. This wonderful display of public interest in the film has enabled the production to continue into 2014. We're looking forward to the opportunity to speak to a new audience at DocWeek and hopefully bring more people along for the ride.

Keep an eye out for our Stingray Sisters trailer, showing before selected screenings at the Festival. Katrina will also be speaking in a moderated panel session before the closing night film.

We're looking forward to seeing some new faces and watching some great docos!

Returning in 2014, DocWeek brings the best of international documentary filmmaking to Adelaide.  It is a week long documentary film festival - a celebration of hard hitting, experimental, moving, fun and engaging documentaries, as well as master classes, filmmaker conversations, and parties."
