Richard Frankland is the head of the Wilin Centre for Indigenous Arts and Cultural Development; a member of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music; and the subject of our third instalment of our VCA & Conservatorium Greats campaign.

Richard is a prolific creative. A poet, musician, author and filmmaker, he's written, directed and produced over fifty video, documentary and film projects. A highly acclaimed activist, Richard was nominated for Australian of the Year in 2013 for his work with Indigenous community groups and work on lateral violence and community awareness.
